Early Childhood Educator

Role Description The Early Childhood Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Sonipat. The educator will design and facilitate developmentally appropriate activities that encourage exploration, play, and hands-on learning across areas such as language, early numeracy, arts, and motor skills. Daily responsibilities include planning and leading classroom experiences, supervising children’s safety and well-being, supporting social-emotional development, and adapting activities to individual learning styles and needs. The role involves maintaining an organized, welcoming classroom environment, documenting children’s progress, and communicating regularly with families and colleagues. The educator will collaborate with the Toybox team to uphold a nurturing, inclusive, and curiosity-driven learning culture.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Early Childhood Development, including understanding of developmental milestones and age-appropriate learning practices.
• Demonstrated experience Working With Children in preschool or early primary settings, with a caring, patient, and inclusive approach.
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills for building positive relationships with children, families, and team members, and for clear, respectful communication.
• High level of Creativity Skills to design engaging, play-based activities using stories, art, music, movement, and nature.
• Strong Organization Skills to plan lessons, manage classroom routines, maintain records, and ensure a safe, orderly environment.
• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Ability to create an inclusive classroom that respects diverse backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles.
• Basic proficiency in using digital tools for planning, documentation, and family communication is an advantage.
• Commitment to continuous learning and openness to Toybox’s child-led, play-based educational philosophy.
