Job Description

Marut Drones is seeking an Drone Technician (After Sales Service) to support the maintenance and repair of drone products, ensuring they are fully operational and meet quality standards. The role involves assisting the maintenance team in troubleshooting issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and supporting the upkeep of drone systems.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Support & Troubleshooting:

• Assist the maintenance team in performing troubleshooting and repairs of drone products to ensure they are fully operational.
• Support diagnostic efforts for malfunctioning drones, identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions.
• Help ensure drones are serviced on time and in line with the company’s maintenance protocols.
  
  

Preventive Maintenance & Inspections

• Assist in conducting routine preventive maintenance and inspections to keep drones in top condition.
• Monitor drone systems, ensuring all parts and components are functioning correctly and within operational specifications.
• Record maintenance work and inspections, keeping detailed logs for future reference.
  
  

Technical Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain and update technical records, including maintenance logs, parts inventory, and service reports.
• Assist in creating and following checklists for various maintenance tasks and procedures.
  
  

Inventory & Spare Parts Management

• Support the maintenance team in managing inventory of spare parts and ensuring availability of necessary components.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering replacement parts when necessary.
  
  

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with the engineering and R&D teams to provide feedback on any recurring issues or product improvements.
• Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure all maintenance work meets company and industry standards.
  
  

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to safety standards and procedures during all maintenance activities.
• Ensure that maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  
  

Knowledge And Skill Required

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software components in drones.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing technical issues in complex systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments used for drone maintenance.
• Strong organisational skills to manage maintenance schedules and inventory.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, aeronautical engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or technical support roles, preferably in the drone or aerospace industry.
• Familiarity with drone technology, components, and systems is a plus.
