Job Description : Document controller 5-7 yrs. of experience range in offshore documentation specific Engineering & Vendor documentation. Work experience with any engineering consultant Should have EDMS tools experience. Availability: Immediate joiners Role: FTC Attend project kick off meeting Prepare the tracking sheet for projects documentation Create Transmittals for supplier documents & external documents Collect required documents from suppliers based on defined schedule Timely collect all required documents from internal Engineering team Quality check engineering documents and coordinate with respective engineer for missing data/correction if any Share documents with end customer based on delivery schedule Follow up with end customer to get documents approved in time Maintain revisions & approval of documents into EDMS Maintain the tracking sheet throughout the project duration to track the status of all documents in project scope Prepare & share the status report with Project manager on weekly basis Experience 2 to 3 years’ experience in document control activities preferably in an engineering company Skills Required: Excellent communication & co-ordination skills Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook Knowledge of Teamcenter is advantageous. Educational Qualification: B.E/ B. Tech/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Software: EDMS Teamcenter
