We are looking for a Business Analyst – GBO Support to join us in developing ways for IKEA to stay relevant for our customers.

Passionate about understanding complex business processes, the strategic impact of digital tools on operational excellence, and how digital systems can optimize them.
Have a strong background in business analysis, IT operations, data-driven problem solving, and driving digital transformation initiatives in collaboration with functions like AMS, Enterprise Architecture, and Digital Platforms.
Love being creative through identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement using digital solutions.
Take ownership and independently drive towards desired outcomes
Know about developing strategic roadmaps for IT enablement, operational optimization through digital tools, and effective collaboration frameworks across digital functions.
Have experience working in cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between business and IT stakeholders.
Are a team player who takes ownership, builds cross-functional relationships with peers and loves sharing knowledge with others
Proactively manage relevant stakeholders
Are curious, self-directed and want to keep learning!

The must-haves we see for this role is though:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on IT systems, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data to identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and the impact of digital solutions.
Demonstrated ability to establish and manage governance processes that rigorously track the impact of IT incidents and system performance on Global Business Operations (GBO) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), driving accountability and continuous operational improvement

You’ll be a vital part in the transformation of IKEA into a more front line obsessed company by ensuring that Global Business Operations are seamlessly powered by digital innovation, leading to a low-cost, agile, and customer-centric IKEA experience.

This mean that you will:

Partner closely with the GBO function to deeply understand existing operational processes, digital system utilization, and identify opportunities for optimization and digital tool adoption.
Gather and analyse data from various sources to identify IT-related bottlenecks and areas where digital systems can be leveraged for greater operational efficiency and cost savings.
Bridge the gap between business needs and IT capabilities, translating GBO requirements into actionable IT solutions and improvements, actively collaborating with Digital Functions like AMS, Enterprise Architecture, and Digital Platforms.
Design, implement, and run a governance framework to track the impact of IT incidents, digital tool implementations, and operational improvements on GBO KPIs and overall business value.
Proactively identify, evaluate, and propose automation opportunities and new digital tools within existing GBO processes to drive significant operational efficiency and cost benefits for the company.
