As an Associate in Buying & Merchandising, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the procurement and promotion of products to ensure optimal inventory levels and customer satisfaction. With 1 to 3 years of experience in the industry, you will bring valuable insights and support to the buying and merchandising team through your analytical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and execution of buying plans based on market trends and consumer demand.
• Analyze sales data and forecasting to optimize inventory levels and product availability.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and track product performance, making recommendations for promotions or markdowns as needed.
• Work closely with merchandising team to ensure product assortments meet customer needs and align with brand strategy.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities for growth.
• Support the development of marketing campaigns and promotions in coordination with the marketing team.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and inventory projections.
• Stay updated on industry developments and competitor activities to inform buying decisions.
• Provide administrative support to the buying and merchandising team as needed.
