Job Title: Associate – KYC Due Diligence

Department: Client Engagement & Financial Security

About Business line/Function: Client Engagement & Financial Security (CEFS) is a department operating under Client Operating Center of Excellence (COCE) and is responsible for KYC Due Diligence, Client Referential, AML Transaction Monitoring and Audit Confirmation for the CIB division of the Bank

Position Purpose: As an Associate in KYC Due Diligence team, the candidate is responsible for timely onboarding or periodic review of the clients of the Bank while ensuring high quality standards and client centric approach

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Responsible for Onboarding or Recertification of client of the bank
• Perform due diligence on Institutional clients across all risks for SDD, CDD & EDD files.
• Perform required KYC screenings on customers documenting the information obtained on the clients as required by global KYC procedure
• Contributing ideas to improve the process by identifying appropriate control measures
• Maintain effective communication channels with peer groups
• Collaborate with internal teams and escalate unresolved issues promptly
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross training to share best practices and ideas.
• Responding to client queries & Front office queries
• Participate to global projects, local projects and improvement of the productivity within the team by proposing initiatives
• Collaborate with technology/support team to help identify internal and external facing technology improvement opportunities
  
  

Specific Qualifications: University Graduate in Finance or Operations

Technical Skills

Skills Referential (Required knowledge, skills and abilities)

• Knowledge of Capital Markets, Financial Instruments and Investment Banking
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Understanding of Anti Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing concepts
• Understanding of Sanctions
