Job Description – Application Support Engineer (Store Replenishment Systems - SRS)

Role Overview

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to support enterprise applications related to Store Replenishment, Forecasting, and Inventory Management. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are interested in application support, databases, and supply chain systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide application support for Store Replenishment, Forecasting, and Inventory Management systems.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Analyze application data and investigate incidents using Oracle SQL.
• Support Linux-based applications and scheduled batch processes.
• Perform root cause analysis and assist in resolving production issues.
• Create and manage incidents, service requests, and change requests using ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with development, business, and support teams to resolve application issues.
• Participate in testing, validation, and deployment support activities.
• Maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures.
• Track tasks and issues using Jira and manage source code using Git.

Required Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Oracle SQL.
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Exposure to Shell Scripting is an added advantage.
• Understanding of databases and data analysis concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Good to Have

• Exposure to ServiceNow, Jira, and Git.
• Basic understanding of Supply Chain, Retail, Inventory Management, or Forecasting concepts.
• Internship or project experience in application support, software development, or data analysis.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
