Responsibilities

• Design and ship LLM features, tool-using agents, and RAG pipelines that handle messy customer data and ambiguous prompts.
• Build retrieval systems with chunking, metadata filters, reranking, citations, freshness rules, and measurable recall.
• Create evaluation suites, golden datasets, guardrails, fallback paths, and human-review loops for high-risk AI behaviour.
• Optimise latency, token spend, cache strategy, streaming UX, and model selection without hiding quality regressions.
• Integrate vector stores, model APIs, queues, and observability into production services with privacy-aware data handling.
• Translate product problems into AI system designs, then prove value through experiments, telemetry, and failure analysis.
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years in software engineering or applied ML, with hands-on production experience using LLMs or retrieval systems.
• Strong Python and practical knowledge of embeddings, vector databases, model APIs, orchestration, and async service design.
• Experience building evals, prompt/version management, RAG quality checks, tool calls, and safety/guardrail mechanisms.
• Ability to reason about precision/recall, hallucination risk, data leakage, latency/cost trade-offs, and monitoring.
• Pragmatic engineering judgment: you can say when rules, search, or simpler automation is better than AI.
  
  

Eligibility

• Degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Projects or work demonstrating applied AI you've shipped.
• Available to work on-site in Vadodara, full-time.

Compensation

Compensation for this role: ₹12–22 LPA, based on skills and experience.
