Job Description

Royal York Property Management is a leader in property management, overseeing more than 22,000 properties valued at over $10.1 billion across our 20 office locations in Ontario. We specialize in tenant placement, property management, and 24/7 maintenance, delivering exceptional service with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage and oversee our financial transactions and ensure accuracy in processing payments. Your primary responsibility will be to handle accounts payable tasks efficiently, working closely with our team to maintain smooth financial operations. This role requires a keen eye for detail and accuracy, but prior experience in real estate is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Review, code, and enter invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with purchase orders.
• Payment Processing: Schedule and process payments, reconciling and managing payment terms.
• Vendor Relations: Address issues and discrepancies, maintaining positive vendor relationships.
• Reporting: Prepare accounts payable reports and assist with month-end closing.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure policy adherence and maintain accurate records for audits.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Purchasing and Finance to streamline processes and resolve issues.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Accounting Softwares
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with account payables or related financial roles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.
