Facilities Assistant

We are currently seeking to recruit a Facilities Assistant to join our team at Caithness General Hospital.

This post will be based in the Laundrette Department; however you may be required to provide cover within the domestic and catering departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained in line with local infection control policies, Covid 19 guidance and maintaining compliance with the NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification, and Waste Regulations.

The successful candidate will ensure the specified Laundry Services meet the standards of NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specifications and meet specified cleaning schedules while promoting and maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the environment.

Catering duties include regeneration of meals and preparation of salads, sandwiches and snacks.

This is a permanent full time post of 37 hours to be worked over 5 days between Monday and Sunday.

Hours of work can be negotiable; however shifts are normally between 07.00am and 22.00pm
