Project Procurement Manager (Vice President)
1. Deliver value as a strategic Partner of GMS to achieve growth and profitability targets of O2C business.
2. Preparation of Annual Procurement Plan & budget with continuous monitoring on plan vs realization
3. Understand requirements of Major & Minor capex and assist in defining overall strategy
4. Ordering and Delivery of Equipment and Material, duly aligned to the Project & Steady State priorities, as per Annual Operating Plans (AOP) ensuring the “Availability of Plants” and “Reliability of Equipment”.
5. Deliver cost reduction through strong alignment with all P&L Leaders, partner with all stake holders in design and execution of innovative cost reduction strategies with a focus on Life Cycle costs.
6. Ensure the process of sourcing events, supplier identification, Technical and commercial negotiation and supplier selection.
7. Lead the sourcing of the project in alignment with Category manager and Project Head
8. Undertake post-contract award management activities
9. Drive new technological / Automation advancements in work execution techniques.
10. Partner with FC&A on Working Capital Management
11. Enhance maturity of Risk Management - monitor, mitigate and manage key risks within limits.
12. Build a sustainable P&C organization, develop leadership pipeline, and identify skill gaps, competency development in specific areas and reskilling.
Education Required
1. Necessary –B. E. / B. Tech in Chemical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical engineering
2. Desired
2.1. MBA along with BE / B. Tech.
2.2. Certification by Procurement Professional Bodies
Experience Required
1.1. 15 - 20 years of experience in Procurement for Capex coupled with Operations or Maintenance experience
1.2. In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles, product knowledge, industry knowledge, good understating of the commercial terms and conditions and commercial acumen
1.3. Experience in digital sourcing and procurement systems
1.4. Familiarity with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
1.5. Experience in handling LSTK projects would be an added advantage
