Position Title: Key Account Manager (B2B) - 2-Wheeler Segment

Experience: 10 + Years.

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Overview:

As a Key Account Manager specializing in B2B sales within the 2-wheeler industry for a gasket, sealing, rubber, and washer manufacturing company, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with key clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for these clients, ensuring their needs are met and driving business growth for our products within the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in the 2-wheeler industry.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Understand the specific needs and requirements of each client and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any issues promptly.

2. Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow sales revenue within existing key accounts.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell company products to key clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and target accounts.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote company products.

3. Account Planning and Forecasting:

  • Develop comprehensive account plans for key clients, outlining goals, strategies, and action plans.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Forecast sales and revenue projections for key accounts on a regular basis.
  • Analyse sales data and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

4. Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal departments such as production, logistics, and customer service to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment of orders.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to key accounts.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to gather client feedback and insights for product improvement and innovation.

5. Customer Satisfaction and Retention:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Proactively seek feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall customer experience.
  • Implement strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty, such as loyalty programs or special incentives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the automotive industry or related sector.
  • Strong understanding of the 2-wheeler industry, including market dynamics, trends, and key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
