  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Recruit, hire, and train sales representatives.
    • Set sales targets and quotas for the team.
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
    • Motivate the team to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
    • Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
    • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Sales Process Management:
    • Define and optimize the sales process to ensure efficient and effective operations.
    • Monitor and track sales metrics, such as conversion rates and revenue growth.
    • Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and implement solutions.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and accounts.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
    • Work to understand customer needs and preferences to tailor sales approaches.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development:
    • Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and product knowledge of sales team members.
    • Keep the team updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Coordinate with marketing, product, and other relevant teams to ensure alignment of strategies.
    • Communicate company policies, procedures, and objectives to the sales team.
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage the sales budget, including expenses related to travel, events, and resources.
  • Performance Evaluation:
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of team members.
    • Recognize top performers and address underperformance through coaching and corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and advancements in sales techniques.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the investment castings market, expanding the client base and driving revenue growth.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to strategically position the company's offerings.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and meet business objectives.
  • Key Account Management: Manage and nurture key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Negotiation and Pricing: Collaborate with clients to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms that align with both the company's profitability and the client's expectations.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, contributing to sales planning and resource allocation.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's investment casting products, their features, benefits, and applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as engineering, production, and marketing to ensure seamless execution of orders and projects.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests for information.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition of the company's products.
  • Travel: Depending on the scope of the role, travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and represent the company in relevant forums.
  • Sales Performance Analysis: Regularly assess sales performance, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement or adjustment in sales strategies.
  • Relationship Building: Foster relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within client organizations.
  • Contract Management: Ensure accurate and timely contract administration, including documentation, terms, and renewals.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from clients, incorporating their input to enhance products, services, and overall customer experience.
  • Team Collaboration: If leading a sales team, provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to guide the team towards meeting sales goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
  • Bachelors Degree in engineering, business, marketing, sales or similar
  • Significant experience in selling engineering components or products to OEMs in India and abroad
  • Track record of closing enquiries and meeting sales targets
  • Experience in managing or leading a team even if not in a formal role
  • Clear communication and persuasion skills
  • Ability to analyse data, track sales metrics, and identify trends to either escalate or make informed decisions
  • Ability to creatively and efficiently solve problems
  • Basic technical proficiency and technical acumen in engineering products as well as proficiency in using modern CRM tools and software.
