- Supervising the work of their department technicians
- Ensure effective implementation of the Quality System in their department
- Preparing Test Procedures where necessary
- Ensuring the quality of test results generated
- Updating all documents and records in their department
- Providing in house training to subordinates as and when required
- Periodically assessing the subordinates w.r.to quality consciousness, quantity of work performed, discipline and overall behavior / attitude and suggest training needs
- Maintaining confidentiality of information regarding patients.
