Job Description

To meet full demand through various supply locations of the zone for direct as well as retail customers with proper Quality and Quantity ensuring overall profitability of the organisation.

Accountabilities

ACTIVITIES

1 Meeting demand in full

• Ensuring availability of product as per projections from Retail as well as direct sales team at each locations of the zone and materialisation of day to day indents in time as per linkage plan.
• Ensuring availability/timely replenishment of required product at locations (Own/Hired/Back to back) in time
• Assessing requirement of TTs and coordinating with Logistics for required fleet to materialise demands in time.
• Coordination with shipping agent/CHA/surveyor/Terminal operator for timely receipt of Vessel at Coastal locations
  
  
  

2 Coordination

• Direct and Retail Sales team for timely placement of indents IT for necessary support and ensure uptime of location ERP/PC/Printers etc
• Marketing Accounts for Account related issues, timely release of transporter's/vendor's payment
• Maintaining business relationship with Vendors for their timely services to ensure healthiness of infrastructure/uptime
• .Coordination with PSUs at zonal /local level for smooth supplies.
• Coordination for loading of required STO quantity from identified supply locations
  
  
  

3 Customer Focus

• Resolving customer issues related to Quality and Quantity promptly
• Identification of critical indents and take desired actions to avoid any dry outs on account of product/TT availability
• Error free in invoicing
• Handling of accident cases of TTs and release of claims in time.
• Monitoring and control on ocean loss/handling loss at the time of unloading of Vessels at coastal locations

4 MIS/ Reports

• Reviewing of daily MIS on products loaded, Demand/Indent Placed, Balance Indents along with availability of product from all locations in the zone and taking corrective actions.

• Publishing of monthly MIS of planned Vs actual supplies from the Zone
  
  
  

5 Control on product inventory losses

• Monitoring of Day to day accounting of Stocks at own locations and taking desired actions to control any deviations.
• Ensuring JCs are signed timely after verifying temperature and quantities every fortnight for PSU location and sent to Vadinar Accounts.
  
  
  

6 Inspection of Locations

• Periodic and surprise inspection of all locations in the zone. Keeping record of observations in the approved format.
• Making summary of major observations at each locations and monthly reporting to HO alongwith actions taken for closure.
  
  
  

7 Budgetary Control and statutory compliances

• To prepare, monitor and control budgeted expenses of each locations
• To ensure timely renewal and availability of required statutory compliance at all locations
• Ensuring all tasks are completed in online compliance portal Legatrix
  
  
  

8 Operational Excellence

• Record keeping of all inducted TTs (approved strength, active TTs), induction documents of each transporter and each TTs, Security fittings, surprise inspection of TTs etc at each location
• Adherence to SOPs by Locations for safe operation
• Ensuring record keeping of invoices, approvals, PODs etc at each locations in orderely manner
• Ensuring record keeping of pilfer proof seals, abloy locks, keys etc in standard approved format.
• Implementation of VTS on all TTs and keeping track of any irregularities/malpractices.
• Safety and Security
• Use of proper PPEs at locations and implementation of safe practices
• Ensure a culture of behaviour based safety among officers as well as TT crews/agency staffs
• Ensure proper record of access control for entry/exit from own locations
• To conduct safety campaign at locations
• Ensure adherence of Nayara’s QHSE policy by all stakeholders
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering /MBA
