Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic YouTube Analytics SEO Executive to drive the growth and performance of our YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of YouTube SEO, and a proactive mindset to strategize and execute effective optimization techniques. This role requires collaboration across content, design, and marketing teams to enhance visibility, engagement, and subscriber growth on the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on YouTube channel performance using tools such as YouTube Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Conduct targeted keyword research to optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for maximum discoverability.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to boost video views, watch time, subscriber growth, and audience engagement.
  • Track competitor channels and analyze industry trends to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Optimize video metadata to improve search rankings and overall channel visibility.
  • Collaborate closely with content creators to integrate SEO best practices throughout the video production process.
  • Manage and organize YouTube playlists to enhance user experience and content navigation.
  • Use data-driven insights to recommend content improvements and optimize publishing schedules.
  • Stay updated on YouTube algorithm changes and adjust SEO strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly performance reports and present actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the design team to ensure compelling thumbnail creation aligned with SEO goals.
  • Provide monthly trending keyword reports to assist in developing the YouTube content calendar.
  • Maintain flexibility in working hours during peak periods, such as exam seasons, to align video releases or live sessions.
  • Adhere strictly to SEO guidelines to optimize daily videos, sessions, and shorts for maximum reach.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with YouTube Analytics and SEO tools.
  • Deep understanding of YouTube’s algorithm and ranking factors.
  • Proficient in keyword research tools like TubeBuddy, VidIQ, and Ahrefs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
  • Basic knowledge of video production and editing is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects independently.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and priorities.
