Job Description
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Inspector – QA/QC (Piping/Welding) to perform inspection and quality assurance activities related to piping fabrication, welding, and installation works. The incumbent will ensure that all site activities comply with approved procedures, project specifications, international codes, and client requirements. The role requires strong technical knowledge of welding, NDT, and material inspection practices to maintain the highest quality standards across project deliverables.

Salary : USD 2,122 - 2,612/month
Location : Kuwait
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection of piping fabrication, fit-up, welding, and erection works in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Verify the availability, traceability, and conformity of base materials and welding consumables.
- Review and implement approved WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications prior to job execution.
- Perform in-process and final inspections of weld joints and piping systems as per ITP requirements.
- Coordinate with NDT technicians for inspection scheduling and ensure compliance with ASME, API, and project codes.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Prepare inspection reports, maintain records, and support QA/QC documentation as per project requirements.
- Assist QA/QC engineers during audits, surveillance, and client inspections.
- Monitor calibration status of measuring instruments and welding machines used in inspection activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE and quality management systems throughout site operations.
Mandatory Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC (Piping/Welding) within oil, gas, refinery, or petrochemical projects.
- Sound knowledge of piping fabrication, welding processes, and inspection methodologies.
- Certification in CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI or equivalent is mandatory.
- ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MT, and PT will be an added advantage.
- Thorough understanding of codes and standards such as ASME Section IX, B31.3, API, and ASTM.

- Effective communication and coordination skills with construction and QA/QC teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and QA documentation systems.
