Job Summary

The Video Editor will be responsible for all aspects of the video editing process, from the organization of footage to final rendering and delivery. This includes collaborating with the creative team to understand project requirements, selecting appropriate music and graphics, and ensuring high-quality output across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished and engaging videos for various platforms (e.g., social media, website videos, app tutorial videos).
• Collaborate with the creative team (e.g., marketing, designers, writers) to understand project goals and timelines.
• Select and incorporate appropriate music, sound effects, graphics, and animations.
• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all video content.
• Maintain organized project files and archives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and technologies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Review and quality check completed videos before distribution.

Skills

• 2-3 years experience as a Video Editor (portfolio required).
• Proficiency in video editing or motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Strong understanding of video editing principles, including composition, pacing, and storytelling.
• Knowledge of video formats and resolutions.
• Knowledge about camera settings and other video-related equipment.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
