Macquarie Asset Management's D3E (Data, Digital, Design and Engineering) team is seeking a Data Product Manager to build Finance Data Products on our Google Cloud BigQuery data platform. The Enterprise D3E team is responsible for providing digital solutions to MAM’s Private Credit and Fund Management teams.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will analyse data from Finance platforms, define and prototype data models, and ensure they meet consumer needs. Collaborating with business leaders, end users, and data engineers, you will embed high-quality documentation, quality checks, and best practices into data pipelines. You will also advocate for data security, privacy, and ethical use while delivering intuitive and actionable data products.

What You Offer

  • 14+ years of relevant experience with excellent understanding of finance business systems or processes including financial planning and analysis and general ledger
  • Proven experience of leading a team
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, databases, and data modelling techniques; strong analytical skills highly capable of deriving insights and making data-driven decisions
  • Adaptability and willingness to explore new technologies and approaches
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align data initiatives with business objectives
