Summary

Position Summary

Role: UI/UX Designer

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements and user research into effective design solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, business analysts, and developers—to translate user needs and business requirements into seamless design solutions. You will lead modules in client engagements, mentor junior designers, and advocate user-centered design. This role is critical in shaping digital experiences that are functional, elegant, and impactful for global clients.

Work you’ll do:

As a design consultant, you will collaborate with strategists, product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers to create human-centered solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting discovery workshops and brainstorming sessions with clients and stakeholders to uncover insights and actionable design strategies using design thinking and innovation techniques.
  • Translating business requirements and user pain points into impactful design solutions informed by research findings.
  • Leading key design modules on projects and presenting design concepts to diverse stakeholders with strong advocacy for user needs.
  • Drafting, prototyping, and brainstorming design concepts collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Applying visual design fundamentals and frameworks (e.g., atomic design) to set up and maintain design libraries for scalability.
  • Mentoring peers by providing thoughtful feedback and ensuring the highest quality in design deliverables.
  • Staying abreast of the latest trends in design and technology, and contributing to the studio community by sharing insights and best practices.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary group of strategists, UX and visual designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers. Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in UX/UI design, preferably with exposure to B2B product design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing the ability to translate research insights into elegant and effective product experiences.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools: Sketch, Figma, InVision, Principle, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • In-depth knowledge of native iOS and Android design patterns, along with responsive web design standards.
  • Experience creating micro-interactions and animations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage timelines, maintain quality, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) for effective collaboration with engineers.
  • Experience in building and managing design systems.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to drive data-informed design decisions.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university.
