Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and tax authorities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors to assess their impact on financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans, financial forecasts, and investment strategies to support business growth and expansion.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position within the real estate industry.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate accounting principles, including revenue recognition, cost allocation, lease accounting, and project accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
