We are seeking an experienced Global Project Manager- Applications, to lead and manage projects focused on custom applications, SharePoint, Java, etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex IT projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

- Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Conduct post-project reviews and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- B.E/B.Tech in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven working experience as a project manager in the IT sector.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Experience with SharePoint, Java, etc
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with project management software tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
