As a dynamic web designer at Alpha School, you'll transform concepts into captivating designs and live sites faster than you can say 'conversion rate'. Your mission is to drive growth and champion the 2HR Learning initiative by crafting engaging web experiences that seamlessly turn curiosity into commitment. With your knack for creating compelling landing pages, brand-aligned materials, and automated processes, you'll be the catalyst for our expansion.
Our website isn't just a digital brochure; it's a responsive, AI-enhanced platform. You'll utilize WordPress, Elementor, and an array of innovative tools like Cursor, MCP, Claude Code, v0, Lovable, Webflow AI, and Relume to produce sites and assets that outperform traditional agencies. Our strategy features HubSpot as the backbone of acquisition, content and schema optimized for LLM, effective local SEO, and workflow integration through n8n and Zapier. The real excitement lies in the synergy of these elements and the resulting surge in traffic and conversions.
Your role involves dedicating about 70% of your time to building and refining production websites, and the remaining 30% to developing targeted creative content. This includes managing multiple web properties, designing with Figma/Adobe/Canva, aligning visual and textual elements with our messaging, integrating HubSpot forms, and evaluating performance metrics to guide future projects. This is not a role for those seeking to merely beautify slides or follow rote tasks; your impact will be measured by the clarity and consistency of your messaging, the quality of your visuals, and your analytical precision.
If you can showcase complete projects, demonstrate how you've optimized funnels, and articulate the strategic decisions that influenced key metrics, you'll excel in this role.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. - Streamline the marketing funnel through automation with MCP, n8n, and Zapier
- Using outdated design methods or settling for lackluster web experiences
- Working in isolation; instead, embrace collaboration within our innovative team
- Contribute to the growth of Alpha School and 2HR Learning by crafting exceptional digital experiences, educating families, and conveying brand value through professional and appealing marketing materials
- Proven web design expertise with a history of creating engaging and effective web pages
- Expert-level skills in WordPress, Canva, Cursor, and various AI tools
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing generative AI tools for content creation and web design
- An impressive portfolio showcasing high-quality web pages designed to captivate, educate, and convert audiences
