UI/UX Designer - Photoshop/Illustrator

About The Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Mid-Level UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Surat. This is an exciting opportunity to own the design process for two critical products: a large-scale ERP system undergoing a complete redesign and our existing B2B website and mobile app You will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience, ensuring intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that drive user satisfaction and business success.

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be a Figma wizard with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to tackle complex workflows and deliver clean, user-centric designs. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle, from user research to implementation and quality assurance. Beyond core UI/UX responsibilities, you will also contribute to our marketing efforts by designing engaging graphics and collaborating on video content.

Responsibilities

Own the UI/UX Design Process :

• Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design for a large-scale ERP system across commercial, finance, and manufacturing modules, from initial concept to final implementation.
• Drive design improvements and enhancements for our existing B2B website (kgkdiamonds.com) and mobile app, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience.
  
  

Ensure Design Quality And Implementation

• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide constructive feedback during the development process.
• Conduct thorough quality control checks to guarantee the final product meets design specifications and usability standards.
  
  

User-Centric Approach

• Conduct user interviews with internal stakeholders and occasionally customers to gather valuable insights and inform design decisions.
• Apply and extend existing design principles to new ERP components, maintaining consistency and usability across the platform.
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work daily and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to iterate quickly and deliver high-quality designs.
• Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
  

Marketing & Content Support

• Design visually appealing graphics for various marketing channels, including Instagram posts, email campaigns, and WhatsApp creatives.
• Collaborate with a videographer to create compelling video content for product launches, social media engagement, and internal storytelling. This includes contributing to concept development, storyboarding, and potentially basic video edits.
• Work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure all content aligns with launch goals and brand guidelines.
  
  

What We're Looking For

Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.

Figma Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including the ability to create and manage component systems, develop interactive prototypes, and effectively utilize collaboration tools.

Portfolio: A strong online portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design process and deliverables, with a focus on B2B products, dashboards, or ERP systems.

Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to manage the end-to-end design execution process.

Developer Collaboration: Proven comfort and experience working closely with developers to ensure accurate design implementation and provide constructive feedback.

Design Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar for graphic design tasks.

Basic Video Editing Skills: Familiarity with basic video editing principles and the ability to create short-form video content (e.g., Reels, promo videos, product walkthroughs).

Communication Skills: Proactive and clear communicator with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location: Based in Surat or willing to relocate to Surat.

Bonus Points (Not Required)

• Experience designing enterprise software or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with design systems and responsive design best practices.
