About the Team:

The S&D vertical at Ninjacart is focused on the farm to retailer business of procuring from farmers and delivering to retailers - ensuring that farmers get paid the right price for their efforts and that retailers are able to get market quality produce delivered at their doorsteps. The last mile distribution is handled by our Distributor partners based out of our Micro Distribution Centres.

Responsibilities:

• Strategically manage supply of last mile logistics requirements across the city
• Ensure on time supply of committed vehicles for day to day operations by partnering with 3PL transport providers
• Build a cost effective, customer service oriented last mile logistics network
• Collaborate, coordinate & influence internal & external stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Finance, 3PLs, etc.,) while working on Operational Excellence

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Assistant manager/ Team lead in logistics function
• UG/PG from Tier 2/3 educational institutions
• Should have experience in handling supply of vehicles like mini trucks, tata ace, Ape etc.,
• Should have a good vendor network intra-city
• Proficiency in Kannada & English is mandatory. Proficiency in Hindi is an added advantage
