Job Overview

Podar Education Network is seeking a Transport Supervisor to join our team at our Nagpur location. The ideal candidate will have between 1 to 3 years of experience in transport supervision. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for overseeing transportation services, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our student transport system.

Qualifications And Skills

• Experience in transport supervision (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in route planning to optimize travel times and ensure timely arrivals.
• Strong knowledge in fleet maintenance to keep vehicles in excellent working condition.
• Experienced in team leadership to manage and coordinate with drivers and support staff effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for clear interactions with staff, students, and parents.
• Time management skills to organize schedules and adhere to strict timelines.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance to ensure all transport activities meet legal requirements.
• Experience in managing student transportation, ensuring their safety and comfort during transit.
  
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the school transport system, ensuring all routes are covered efficiently.
• Plan and optimize bus routes to enhance efficiency and reduce travel time.
• Monitor and manage the maintenance of the school vehicle fleet to ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of drivers and support staff, providing them with guidance and resolving any issues.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff regarding transport schedules and any changes.
• Ensure timely completion of all transportation-related tasks and adherence to the daily schedule.
• Maintain records and documentation related to transportation activities to comply with regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and drills to ensure the safety and security of student passengers.
