As the IT Delivery Head, you will be responsible for leading the IT department and ensuring the successful delivery of all IT projects. You will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial planning and scoping to final delivery and maintenance. You will be expected to manage client relationships, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and assess and mitigate risks.

Job Description
As the Tower Head for IT Delivery in the Shared Services Center (SSC., the Assistant Vice President will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC. and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of process and technology orientation, as well as excellent client relationship management skills. The successful candidate will have a strong business and commercial acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit, a global mindset, and a commitment to people excellence.

Principal Accountabilities
Oversee all IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Manage the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC., including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment

Establish and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are met

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks

Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation related to projects

Analyze performance metrics and conduct cost analysis to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

Develop and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth

Stay updated with the latest IT applications and technologies, and implement them as needed

Make key decisions related to IT project delivery, demonstrating strong business acumen and analytical thinking

Manage changes and adapt to shifting project requirements and priorities

Have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and cloud technologies

Proficiently use project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, Trello, etc

Knowledge of ITSM frameworks like ITIL would be an added advantage
