This position reports to

Quality Control Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to Conduct testing and verification activities for assignments of low/medium testing of induction motors and generators complexity of systems, subsystems, or products effectively and cost-efficiently, and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

The work model for the role is: - Onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors & Generators division in Vadodara.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensures that type tests are carried to meet the contractual obligations.
• Ensures tests/ inspections at suppliers' premises are carried out to meet the contractual obligations of systems orders.
• Provides necessary support to other functions during the testing and validation of digital solutions.
• Supports sales team on the requirements of tests during Sales phase. Makes risk assessments to assure safe systems of work and takes appropriate actions.
• Reports contract/quality/program/cost issues to management.
• Ensures all applicable requirements, maintains test reports, and certificates that prove compliance with required and applicable standards, market, or regulatory requirements in line with customer specifications, legal or ABB internal requirements.
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or similar with 2-3 plus years of practical experience required.
• Preferred Experience: 3+ years of Testing experience in high - & low-voltage motors,
• Knowledge of Testing processes and practical experience in understanding detailed type of Tests.
• Problem solver, adaptability, creativity, non-frustrated, flexible, analytical, team player.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
