Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various applications.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Utilize API testing to validate the functionality and performance of web services.
- Implement automated testing frameworks using Cypress to streamline the testing process.
- Write and maintain test scripts in TypeScript to ensure code quality and coverage.
- Identify document and track defects and issues working closely with developers to resolve them.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools techniques and best practices to continuously improve the testing process.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing documentation and guidelines.
- Support the team in achieving project milestones and deliverables on time.
- Possess strong technical skills in API testing ensuring robust validation of web services.
- Have hands-on experience with Cypress for automated testing enhancing test efficiency.
- Demonstrate proficiency in TypeScript for writing and maintaining test scripts.
- Experience in Analytics is a plus providing valuable insights into data-driven testing.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and in-office tasks.
- Display strong communication skills to effectively convey test results and recommendations.
- Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new testing tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement in the testing process.
- Have a solid understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
- Show capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to document and track testing activities effectively.
- Possess a passion for delivering high-quality software products that meet user expectations.
