Position: Territory Business Manager (Crop Protection)
Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh
The Territory Business Manager (TBM) is responsible for organizing sales, collections, sales development implementing free sample distribution, maintaining farmer contacts, providing feedback on market conditions and product performance.

The Territory Business Manager (TBM) is responsible for organizing sales, collections, sales development implementing free sample distribution, maintaining farmer contacts, providing feedback on market conditions and product performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drives sales to the channel (Distributor & Retailers)
- Ensures timely collection of account receivables & reconciliation.
- Regular Tracking of Distributors/Dealers performance vs PO’s
- Takes care of market penetration, market share and services in the area where he operates.
- Monitors, consolidates and submits monthly liquidation reports for product movement from Distributor to Retailer and Retailer to farmers including ending inventory at the channel.
- Distributor & Retailer relationship management by successfully implementing National Programs like 80% contribution Circle,
- Timely communication of pricing & Schemes.
- Stock returns ~ Documentation & communication to SD
- Maintain trade channel discipline.
- Liaison with Ag Dept. officials
- Enables collaboration and working in close harmony with the market development team (MIE’s, MIO’s & Area Marketing Managers).
- Participate in important demand generation activities on need basis like big farmer meetings, field days etc.
- Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Agriculture
- Experience – 3 to 7 years of experience in Crop Protection / Agrochemicals
- Planning and Execution Skills – Capable of establishing business plans and drive execution.
- Business Knowledge – Apply and maintain agronomic technical/functional expertise.
- Technical Skills – Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Self-Management Skills – Inspire trust, demonstrate adaptability, practice self-development and discipline. Ability to work independently with successful timely completion of quality deliverables. Maintain high levels of integrity and perform with minimal supervision.
- Strategy Skills – Create customer loyalty.
- Interpersonal Skills – Build relationships and manage conflict with dealers, customers.
