Position: Technical Project Expert- O&G Equipment Design
Roles / Job Description:
• Developing systems or components, such as pumping or slurry mixing systems, fluid power systems, power train systems, and/or structures for use in Hydraulic Fracturing or Blending equipment, skids design, etc.
• Responsible for the completion of technical engineering tasks on a system-level from definition through testing, functional requirements, technical specifications, as well as time and budget requirements.
• Coordinates with various stakeholders to deliver on project scope, schedule, and services.
• Processes data, writes engineering reports, and diagnoses equipment system malfunctions.
• Uses engineering tools to design/analyze hardware for product changes, new development, unitization, and integration into trailers/vessels/skids.
• Acting as project technical leader, involving development of the general arrangement (layout) of all equipment for the application and the oversight of all technology, such that all systems operate together for a high quality, functional product.
• Responsible for continually keeping the project management leader up to date on the work content (personnel-hours), the duration (calendar time) for the completion of all assigned tasks and the estimated cost of the assigned components and/or systems.
• Contributes to reliability analysis such as risk assessments, FMEA, etc.by gathering and examining data.
• Define and execute product verification/validation testing and Aid Manufacturing during assembly and production testing
Skill & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of design & development experience is a must.
• Min.2 years of operation experience as Field engineers at oil Field site as Company engineer.
Job Requirements:
• Experienced with: Ansys/AutoCAD/Mathcad/SolidWorks.
• Experience with design and installation of machinery and their support systems such as process design, hydraulic, pneumatic, structural and instrumentation.
• Preferred experience in large equipment or structural design.
• Preferred exposure to industries where mixing, handing bulk materials, or pressure pumping are part of their processes (including well servicing, petroleum, mining, agriculture, concrete).
• Knowledge of bulk material flow, fluid dynamics, hydraulic systems, pumps specifications, piping systems, process modeling and simulation are desired
• Knowledge of applicable equipment standards (i.e. API, SAE, NFPA, US DOT, ASME)
