About The Role
We’re seeking a skilled and innovative Android Auto Developer to join our team in designing and building cutting-edge in-vehicle experiences. This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and automotive partners to create seamless, safe, and intuitive applications for the Android Auto platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize applications for Android Auto using Android SDK and Automotive APIs
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure apps meet safety and usability standards for in-car environments
- Conduct rigorous testing across various vehicle head units and screen sizes
- Stay updated with Google’s Android Auto guidelines and automotive industry trends
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, compatibility, and stability issues
- Hands-on experience with Android Auto and Android Automotive OS
- Familiarity with Car App Library
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Collaborate with a forward-thinking, agile team
