Team Leader - Record To Report

Qatar Airways is looking for experienced staff to join our record to report team as team lead to drive its Global Business Services (GBS) operations in Ahmedabad, India.

The position will be responsible for supervising & authorizing period end closing activity, financial planning & reporting accounting, team handling & query management for group entities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage & monitor internal accounting processes through quality check
• Executing accruals accounting process for group entities in line with IFRSs & group policies
• Ensuring review of GL schedules as per accounting quality guidelines
• Ensuring accurate CAPEX lifecycle accounting processes from recognition of assets to de-recognition in books of accounts
• Oversee bank reconciliation activities & ensuring follow up for non-reconciling items
• Assisting for preparation of monthly & annual financial statements for group & individual entities
• Providing information & support during internal & external audits
• Manage & monitor tax related activities like filing, liaising & assessment, for all entities
• Performing month end closing activities
• Support finance transformation initiatives
• Manage escalations from team members

Qualifications

• CA/ Master’s degree or equivalent in finance with minimum 3 years relevant R2R work experience
• Experience in leading a team in a global business organisation
• Prefer candidates from Airline industry or tax consultants
• Prefer user level experience on Oracle/ SAP/ other ERPs.
