A procurement analyst's duties within a company is to research and compare products and services from suppliers in order to decide what will be most compatible for the company.
What You Will Do
- Sourcing and negotiating of Hardware/Software Net New purchases and Renewals.
- Collaborate with customers to understand product requirements and articulate requirements to suppliers
- Tactical Buying for Catalog/non-catalog items
- Support the purchasing function, Finance and other relevant departments
- Assisting customers with questions and status order updates
- Create and maintain purchase orders in the procurement system in accordance with procedures
- Assisting with invoice discrepancies with accounting and suppliers
- Prepare reports and updates as and when required
- Bachelor’s degree and 1 - 3 years of experience in supply chain management, sourcing, or IT procurement
- Experience purchasing and negotiation
- Experience of working closely with suppliers
- Able to add value, reduce costs and business improvements
- Knowledge of Hardware and Software buying and renewals
- Capable of applying critical thinking to solve complex problems
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills with an ability to relay complex information between multiple parties
- Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
- A passion for leveraging new technologies to transform business processes.
- Experience applying economic analysis of multiple purchase alternatives
- Experience with ServiceNow and Ariba/Coupa procurement software
- Working on and leading transformation efforts
