Systems Specialist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and PL/SQL.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Work on system integrations, data migration, and database enhancements.
• Support production systems and participate in on-call activities when required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DBAs, testers, and business analysts.
• Ensure code quality, documentation, and compliance with internal development standards.
• Participate in full SDLC activities: design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with 5 – 8 yrsOracle Forms (10g/11g/12c) and Oracle Reports.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Good understanding of Oracle Database (10g/11g/12c) concepts.
• Experience in application debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Oracle APEX, Java, or migration from Oracle Forms to newer technologies.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Understanding of version control tools like Git or SVN.
