Job Description

Working closely with operations and engineering teams, the System Analyst 3 will primarily focus on supporting the Back-End tier of the Millennium architecture. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding and hands on experience with Linux environment, good understanding of networking concepts, hands-on experience with troubleshooting and working in production environment, and providing system support, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability, daily software updates across multiple customer base, responding to customer service requests, system upgrades and resource optimization, security implementations, RCA and Problem Management. You will implement monitoring for servers and systems and respond to alarms to prevent or resolve impacts to production systems. You will manage change and project activities while communicating with impacted stakeholders.

About the Team:

The Millennium Production Engineering team is a distributed team across multiple time zones leads and maintains the day-to-day operations, stability and availability of the products that fall under the product groups umbrella, focused on creating an ecosystem of service OCI, Technology and Healthcare solutions that are used by thousands of Oracle Healthcare customers across globe. We are tackling some of today’s biggest challenges in the global health care industry and help drive the effort in the future state of our products as we begin to migrate them over to OCI platforms. We strive to build and orchestrate automation, tooling, and centralized solutions to enable our consuming engineer to focus on their specific problems instead of the nuances of the platform and repetitive tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide day-to-day operational support for Oracle Health customers through Service requests.

Perform regular software updates across multiple customer base.

Respond and remediate to alerts and provide Tier-2/Tier-3 oncall support

Perform security implementation.

Perform RCA and Problem management

Collaborate with project managers and other technical teams.

Qualifications:

Experience with working on Linux systems.

Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems

Basic networking knowledge

Strong problem-solving skills.

Experience with cloud infrastructure such as OCI, AWS or Azure is an added advantage.

Able to work in a collaborative team environment.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.

Min. 5-8 years’ experience
