We are the highly established Service Supply Chain business partners, aiming to improve processes efficiencies, it's performance measures and master data quality. Together we are enabling stakeholder's policy making by providing regular and on-demand business intelligence for the functions across SC and Service operations.
Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will have practical experience in a global supply chain role within the forecasting and planning department of a distribution network.
- Assist in the demand planning process by validating forecasts, market intelligence, and Kanban calculations and setups.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for stockouts, on-time and in-full (OTIF) issues and implement mitigation strategies.
- Validating the Safety stock requests and working with the global planning team for implementation
- Take part in meetings for new site or new MRP location implementation to validate re-order points
- Preparing the surplus stock report and validating it for processing of returns.
- Analyze the gaps of Safety stock replenishments for your region and take actions.
- Analyze Safety stock and OTIF for materials with turbine down orders.
- Provide support for projects in demand, supply, and inventory balancing processes, as well as S&OP meetings.
- Engineering Graduate or MBA Supply Chain having experience in Demand and Supply planning
- Min 6+ years of experience from a global international supply chain function within production, Material planning and or spare parts /service environment
- Hands-on experience in applying supply chain principles and methods including reporting
- Solid experience in inventory planning in a global distribution network
- Supply chain certifications (e.g.: APICS-CPIM, CSCP) preferred but not mandatory
- Proficient in SAP, particularly the MM module.
- Holds strong analytical skills in MS Excel and Power BI.
- Effectively prepares presentations.
- Understands SAP master data parameters and their impact on the planning process.
- Demonstrates an innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Flexible regarding work hours due to sites in AME Region
- Holds basic knowledge of statistics.
