Selected Intern’s Day‑to‑day Responsibilities Include
- Setting up and managing transportation logistics operations, including route planning, vehicle tracking (using GPS telematics), dispatch coordination, and monitoring deliveries from Vanagaram hub in Chennai.
- Managing trip coordination scheduling trips, assigning vehicles/drivers, tracking vehicle usage, mileage, fuel, and reporting deviations.
- Handling logistics operational tasks, such as liaising with transport providers, managing transport documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety/transport regulations.
- Monitoring logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, vehicle utilization, cost metrics), maintaining transport process records, and recommending process improvements.
