In agreement with his/her SPM Team Leader

Measuring and reporting SKPIs (Supplier Key Performance Indicators) :

  • Measure the performance (SOTD, SNCD) of suppliers on his/her scope according to Thales scorecard
  • Collaborate with IS and group procurement Process&Tools to define, set up and maintain tools used for SKPIs calculation (Exports SAP, BI, Excel, VBA, Power BI...)
  • Set up means to share indicators and collaborate with operational stakeholders and suppliers
  • Ensure reliability of indicators and establish monthly reporting and transmit the SKPIs locally, to suppliers and to the group level
  • Participate/feed/lead Performance Reviews at suppliers under his/her SPM Leader supervision
  • Deploy the 16 Best Practices under coaching plan with SPM
  • Use/apply the Group Action Plan (GAP) to identify Root causes and align on appropriate action plans
  • Propose accordingly to the rules the change of the supplier Management Level (1 to 3) for escalation purposes
  • Bring a specific focus on the defined Must Achieve (MA) suppliers as needed which are high contributors of disruptions, issues and performance


Supplier Performance Management :

  • Manage Supplier Performance on a list of selected suppliers
  • Organize and conduct the suppliers' performance reviews with the purchase department (Performance Reviews PR, Quality Business Reviews QBR)
  • In order to manage the continuous improvement, put in place the Thales best practices, including lean manufacturing, with his/her suppliers
  • Contribute to identify Root causes in case of bad performance of his/her supplier
  • Responsible for the deployment, within the selected suppliers, of corrective and preventive action plans which address process, product, or component alerts from industrial operations, customer line fit manufacturers, or the field support organization.
  • Act as a conduit to improve the overall interface between Thales and the Supplier, using lessons learned for the continuous improvement of both parties.
  • In case of crisis, contribute to the Task Force (or to the Tiger Team) with his/her network
  • Participate actively for SPM forums as CoPerFour and Steering by providing inputs (status, progress), sharing risk or alerts... and decision to be taken.
  • Establish a relationship of trust with key people at the supplier to create the necessary levers to promote improvement
