About The Team

The purpose of the HR Systems Supervisor is to supervise daily tasks related to analysis, execution, and support of the HR organization and Lowe's associates. Create and maintain a strong working relationship between the HR Systems team and HR Operations. Maintain the utmost confidentiality in dealing with employee records and business information. Provides task direction, monitors performance, handles escalations, and assists with task performance. Support the development and delivery of HR processes training. Supports the manager with organizing tasks and reviewing the work of Sr Specialists and Analysts. As a supervisor, this position is responsible for development of staff and partners with other leaders to enhance performance and to improve employee skills.

We are looking for someone to lead a team of 5-7 Senior Specialist/Analyst who has hands on expertise in issue resolution, ticket management, trouble shooting, finding RCA and able lead and partner with our On-Shore HR systems team. The ideal incumbent will ensure timely case resolution, improving associate experience and efficiently manage incidents that require escalation to higher level support, significantly improving the operational effectiveness, productivity and efficiency.

Job Summary

Provides task direction, monitors performance, handles escalations, and assists with task performance. Support the development and delivery of HR processes training. Supports the manager with organizing tasks and reviewing the work of Sr Specialists and Analysts. As a supervisor, this position is responsible for development of staff and partners with other leaders to enhance performance and to improve employee skills.

This role is also knowledgeable in general HR practices, system policies and procedures, and customer service acumen.

Activities include leading a team of Snr Specialist and Analyst within the HR System team with hands on expertise on Workday core modules and case management skills on Service now. The ideal incumbent should have a strong understanding of US Hire to Retire process, create and maintain a strong working relationship with onshore team, support all organizational direction and culture.

In addition, this role will play a role in supporting Release upgrade testing, other project /enhancement related testing and working with larger HRIS team.

Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of HRIS Senior Specialist and Analyst and always ensure work allocation in seamless and productive way.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team while directing them to be accountable for the functional analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and end-user training for our HRIS systems.
  • Monitor, prioritize, and assign daily responsibilities of HR Systems team, assuring the proper alignment of resources and skillsets to inquiry and request demand. Manage Schedule of resources to ensure uninterrupted Services.
  • Experience in handling Service Now case management module, monitor que, assess and analyze trends and patterns for process improvements.
  • Assure that HR transactions, data, and services are timely, accurate, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements. Provide back-up to staff and perform transactions when necessary.
  • Work with On-shore team and seek necessary input and guidance on new processes, projects and other platform specific enhancements.
  • Provide back-up for Onshore team as required and hands on expertise in ticket resolution, root cause analysis, trouble shooting, problem solving and perform transactions when necessary.
  • Handle escalated and/or sensitive requests and issues related to processing. Troubleshoot particularly specialized, difficult, or sensitive.
  • Provide excellent service to ensure activities provide the intended experience for end users in an efficient and effective manner. Manage tasks of self and team to assure deadlines are met according to established service levels/targets.
  • Follow proper operational procedures and assure the same from the staff.
  • Analyze and correct errors and ensure proper quality controls are in place to avoid future errors.
  • Own and Co-lead development and implementation of operational standards and processes that directly contribute to optimal results, effectiveness, and efficiencies of Sr. Specialist and Analyst roles in US and India.
  • Assist in the development, reporting, and review of metrics to drive performance, identify trends, and develop/implement process improvements, escalating issues and proposed solutions as appropriate.
  • Ability to connect the dots from Tier 1 to Tier 3 and look for effectiveness of process and cascade information to Tier 1 as applicable.
  • Provides task direction, monitors performance, handles escalations, and assists with task performance and supports the development and delivery of HR processes training.
  • Analyze and correct errors and ensure proper quality controls are in place to avoid future errors. Assist the manager and director with the execution of the compliance programs, internal audits, external audits, and government audits. Ensure all company, federal, state, local, and other applicable compliance requirements are met.
  • Support organizational direction and culture. Effectively manage day-to-day of IND employee’s performance using established company tools/methodology. Provide input to personnel decisions (e.g., compensation, recognition, transfer, promotion) as requested. Assure that company policies and practices are followed and set an example for team members.

Years Of Experience

  • Experience: 10-12 years of experience in an HR Systems role supporting Tier 1 & or Tier 2
  • Knowledge of Core HR, Benefit and Payroll processes for US.
  • Prior experience with US companies is an added advantage.

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Monitor and establish strong operational rigor by looking into various data sets.
  • Managing a team of Subject matter experts, providing thought leadership, coach, mentor, and support their career development and growth aspirations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Workday, Kronos and Service Now platform
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and practices, including benefits administration, payroll, compliance, and employee relations
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive HR issues and employee data with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday and or Kronos
  • Experience with service management solutions (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • High proficiency in English language both written and spoken

Secondary Skills (desired)

  • Knowledge of Workday, Service now and Kronos or other Time and Attendance systems
  • Proficiency in Workday, understanding of Hire to Retire business process.
