Primary Objective

Responsible for performing material selection and corrosion control management activities for offshore and onshore oil and gas production, well head and processing facilities.

Specific Accountabilities

• Development of all the Material Selection and Corrosion Control deliverables such as Corrosion Control Philosophies, Material Selection Report, Material Selection Diagrams, Corrosion mitigation methods, Corrosion Loops, CRAS, Cathodic Protection etc.
• Preparation of project specifications (Materials, Welding, Painting, Thermal insulation etc.) and procedures.
• Technical support for the management of the deviations, waivers, studies, and analysis related to corrosion, materials, welding, painting, insulation, and failure.
• Apply recognized onshore/offshore engineering practices applicable to corrosion mitigation.
• Apply good interpersonal skills, liaising with members of other disciplines and departments.
• Willingness to work as a team member.
• Quality Assurance – work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.
• Safety – Responsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health & Safety procedures.
  
  

Qualification & Experience

Masters / Bachelors Degree in Metallurgy engineering, Materials Technology or equivalent with 18+ years of experience.

Ability to work in various phases of projects like Concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, Detail Engineering, Procurement, construction, and Installation of facilities.

Familiarity of codes, norms, manuals and standard as API, ISO, ASME, AWS, AWWA, ASM, ASTM, EN, ANSI, NACE, NORSOK, PED and corrosion modelling software's such as ECE, Predict, etc.
