- Lead the structural design of towers (traction, transmission, and communication) and power supply system equipment including transformer foundations, switchgear structures, and control building supports.
- Review and approve structural calculations, GA drawings, reinforcement detailing, and fabrication drawings.
- Perform structural analysis using software like STAAD Pro, ETABS, or similar tools.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, and architectural teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Oversee geotechnical investigations and incorporate soil reports into foundation designs.
- Ensure designs meet applicable IS, Euro, or ASTM codes and customer technical specifications.
- Conduct value engineering and design optimization for cost-effective solutions.
- Guide a team of structural engineers and review their deliverables.
- Provide technical support during construction, including resolving site queries and conducting site inspections when necessary.
- Prepare and review technical documentation for tenders and project execution.
