We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team and drive success in our retail store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing three key areas: People, Product, and Place. Your role will involve managing and developing your team, ensuring exceptional product presentation and sales, and maintaining efficient store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
People: Development & Team Building
- Recruit, hire, and retain top talent.
- Set performance standards and create teams that consistently achieve goals.
- Establish specific, actionable goals based on KPIs.
- Lead by example with excellent customer service and selling skills.
- Focus on succession planning to meet career goals and promote internally.
- Develop team-selling skills to enhance the Radical Customer Experience using training materials.
- Build employee knowledge through continuous education, role-playing, and effective delegation.
- Implement Fossil’s Brand Philosophy and Company Vision.
- Address performance issues promptly and work with Area/District Manager for resolutions.
- Create action plans based on the Division of Responsibility (DOR) to exceed goals.
- Uphold Fossil’s 6 Core Values and ensure the store embodies them.
- Communicate successes, opportunities, and solutions to the Area/District Manager.
- Form partnerships across the organization.
- Lead among peers and actively participate in conference calls and team meetings.
- Inspire and motivate others through exemplary personal performance.
- Provide recognition to highlight outstanding individual performance.
- Drive employee engagement and maintain high personal integrity.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of floor sets and Plan-o-Grams (POG).
- Monitor and drive sales of best sellers and ensure product placement meets company standards.
- Utilize provided tools to impart product knowledge.
- Deliver a consistent Radical Customer Experience through impeccable presentation.
- Develop effective schedules considering business trends and associate performance.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized store environment.
- Achieve sales plans, Average Dollar Sale (ADS), Items Per Customer (IPC), and Conversion metrics.
- Adhere to compliance standards and complete tasks effectively.
- Maximize customer experience through efficient time and task management.
- Manage loss prevention and adhere to theft, inventory management, and operational control procedures.
- Proven successful experience as a retail Store Manager.
- Excellent customer service skills and business orientation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret sales data.
- Strong people skills with the capacity to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent multitasking capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and think on your feet.
- Self-motivated with a high level of confidence.
- MBA Graduation.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a retail management role.
