- Provide required data and supporting schedules to external auditors during periodic audits, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual closing of books, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Perform regular reconciliation of all general ledger (GL) accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Manage and monitor Prepaid GL Accounts to ensure proper amortization and periodic adjustments
- Conduct first-level verification of accounting entriesPerform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) in the ERP system to ensure proper alignment of bank balances with accounting records
- Provide detailed analysis and explanations for variances, unusual transactions, and significant balance movements
- Maintain strict adherence to internal accounting controls by following defined policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines
- Process vendor payments in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
- Making vendor paymentsAssist in preparation of primary data for statutory filings, including GST returns, tax audit support, and other local compliance requirements
- Support management in preparing financial reports as required for decision making and business performance review
- Work closely with Mananger Accounting to identify process improvement opportunities and implement system automations
- Support projects related to system implementations or process enhancements within the Finance & Accounting function
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2+ years of experience
- Solid foundation in India GAAP
- Organized in the way you document and support your work
- Highly driven and self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Skilled in Excel and accounting systems
- Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines
