Job Description
As an Area Sales Officer, you will be responsible for managing sales and distribution operations within your assigned territory for our domestic business. You will be expected to drive sales growth, manage relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and initiatives.

Principal Accountabilities
Sales Management: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.

Product & Process Knowledge: Understand the technical aspects of our products and processes to effectively sell and distribute them.

Market & Competitive Intelligence: Stay updated with the latest market trends and competitive developments in the assigned area. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and plans.

Negotiation & Influencing: Use your negotiation and influencing skills to secure advantageous terms in negotiations with clients and partners.

Networking: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.

Analytical Skills: Analyze sales data and trends to identify sales potential and forecast future sales.

Global Mindset: Understand and adapt to different cultures and business practices in the domestic market.

Business & Commercial Acumen: Understand the business's financial metrics and how to manage profitability.

People Excellence: Lead, motivate, and develop a high performing sales team. Ensure they have the necessary resources and support to meet their objectives.

Entrepreneurship: Identify new business opportunities and innovative strategies to increase sales and meet business objectives.

Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and customers. Ensure all relevant parties are kept informed of any changes or updates.

Customer Relationship Management: Develop and implement strategies for building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Handle any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
