The role – Sr. Officer / Executive Credit & Collections will play a pivotal role in promoting and maintaining adherence to Xylem India’s Finance common technology platforms, this individual reports to the Deputy Manager Credit & Collections

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities

• Local business unit service provider for i.e. Collections, Cash applications, Billing/Invoicing
• Assist customer ledger on monthly basis along with the milestone billing and collection detail and resolving disputes with customer if required
• Reponsible in strong documentation pertaining to sox audit requirements
• Support in Global Project activities if required
• Support in various audit like SOX, Statutory, Internal etc.
• Be a subject matter expert and support for all systems
• Other tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned (i.e. back-up other team members as needed like LC, BG, etc.)
  
  

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

• Master/ bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a Corporate Finance environment is required
• Previous experience working with accounting is required
• Knowledge of local and regional statutory & regulatory compliance preferred
• Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Power BI, BPCS ERLLX, SAP, High Radius

• Considerable skills in customer service, communication, team building abilities
• Capable of working with cross functional team
• Adaptability to work with different work culture, time zones if required.
• Be an agent of continuous improvement and implement process improvements with lean methodology
