 Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Systems Development and Implementation
  • Design, develop, and implement robust quality systems and processes within manufacturing operations.
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) and regulatory requirements.
  • Standardize best practices across all plants and production lines to maintain quality consistency.
2. Customer Experience Enhancement
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver a seamless and delightful customer journey across all touchpoints.
  • Develop frameworks to systematically capture, analyze, and act on customer feedback.
  • Implement training programs to drive best-in-class processes, product, and delivered quality for customers.
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen brand trust and improve product satisfaction.
3. Continuous Improvement and Innovation
  • Lead initiatives for continuous quality improvement in product design, manufacturing processes, and service delivery.
  • Apply root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to eliminate recurring quality issues.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making.
4. Leadership and Team Management
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of quality professionals across factories and operations.
  • Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on quality and customer experience strategies.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments to align on goals and standards.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence.
5. E-commerce and Digital Integration
  • Align quality and customer experience strategies with the organization’s online and e-commerce platforms.
  • Ensure consistent product quality, delivery performance, and post-purchase support in digital channels.
  • Leverage digital tools and analytics to monitor customer satisfaction and operational metrics.
6. General Trade Oversight
  • Partner with channel sales teams to maintain consistent quality and customer experience across general trade networks.
  • Implement robust feedback loops to capture insights from distributors and retailers for continuous improvement.
  • Uphold brand reputation by ensuring high service and product standards in offline markets.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or certifications in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, ISO Lead Auditor) are desirable.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 4 years in the furniture industry (specifically Sofas/Recliners).
  • Proven track record in managing quality systems within manufacturing and retail environments.
  • Experience in enhancing customer experience within D2C and e-commerce sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results.
