Job Summary

Senior Proposal Engineer is responsible for preparation and follow up of tenders, offers and support to sales by closely working with customers, sales team, operations and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, record and monitor enquiries received.
• Timely submission of offers, online/ offline tenders.
• Maintain clients contact data.
• Prepare specifications for bought out items for getting offers from vendors.
• Work in partnership with Engineering, Commercial and Project Managers as appropriate to need in order to evaluate technical risk and commercial terms.
• Compile comprehensive tender specifications defining prices, commercial conditions, comments and deviations and technical specifications for presentation to the customer.
• Act as focal point for customer queries regarding Proposal submission, in order to reach agreement and build a positive on-going relationship.
• Maintain internal Quality systems as relevant to the processing of enquiries and proposals.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years working in design/ manufacturing/ projects execution of industrial products viz. Pumps/ Machine tools/Compressors/Valves/industrial filters and EPC companies.
  
  

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

• Fully Office based
  
  

Key Competencies

• Knowledge of online/offline Tender/ GeM portals
• Basic Knowledge of Engineering designs and documentations
• Working on ERP
• Basic Knowledge of Engineering designs and documentations.
• Good relationship builder with ability to merge different groups of people, processes and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
