Job Summary
Follow maintenance strategy for C&I systems. Overall supervision and monitor of C&I systems & field instruments to achieve an efficient and reliable performance of the C&I system. Ensure availability of critical spares to minimize breakdown time and to maximize availability of the C&I systems. To prepare & circulate daily shift report, incident reporting, DCS status update, why-why analysis of failures, weekly and monthly checklists, major action points of the day to team leader and manager (Boiler & Turbine). To work on daily shift to attend to C&I defects in time.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure availability of critical spares to minimize breakdown time and to maximize availability of the C&I systems. To work on daily shift to attend to C&I defects in time.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure maximum availability of the critical C&I systems comprising DCS/PLCs, various field instruments, and communication systems.
- Ensure the highest efficiency and availability of control & measurement equipment to achieve the highest overall efficiency of the plant.
- Ensure maximum availability of Environment parameters measurement mechanism to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards.
- Execute suitable maintenance strategies based on corrective, preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance techniques for all C&I equipment and ensure compliance.
- Adhere to organizational procedures issued by the management.
- Keep up the highest level of safety standard at the workplace and zero lost time injury.
- Timely execution of jobs (like removing sensors/impulse lines etc.) requested by other maintenance departments to facilitate their activities.
- Automation of all supportive systems which keep the workplace safe, healthy, and comfortable.
- Participate and contribute suitably to the new projects taken up by the organization.
- Ensure round-the-clock availability of C&I engineers for operational support and to attend the emergency.
- Attend Knowledge Sharing Session delivered by the team members to enhance knowledge and skill.
- Attend assigned training (on/off the job) by the team leaders.
