About the role
To raise purchase orders for the right supplier, for the right value
You will be responsible for
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence- Understands business needs and in depth understanding of Tesco processes- Builds on Tesco processes and knowledge by applying CI tools and techniques. - Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI's- Solves problems by analyzing solution alternatives-Accurately raising orders as per request (Right Supplier / Right Quantity / Right Time) and following up with supplier on the same for on time delivery to ensure no trade impact-Ensuring the purchase orders are receipted without any impact on supplier payment. -Identifying any cost variations of the items against the standard rates as agreed by the buying team-Accountable for managing the Quality of the orders raised
